Australian company, Active Travel, is offering adventure seekers $800 each to go towards flights for bookings made by July 31, 2017, on a new tall ship cruise from Bali showcasing some of Indonesia’s lesser-known and more remote islands.
Guests on the seven-night, round-trip cruise will sail aboard one of the world’s largest sailing ships, Star Clipper, a 170-passenger sailing ship complete with polished brass, elegant restaurant, Edwardian library, teak decks and two pools. The ship will glide through rarely visited waters in Indonesia with the help of 16 billowing sails attached to 69m-tall masts.
The new cruise itinerary for Star Clipper will begin and end in Bali, exploring the intact culture and natural beauty of some of Indonesia’s lesser-known islands along the way.
The itinerary will take passengers to five destinations – little-known Giligenteng Island, Probolinggo in eastern Java which is close to the spectacular Mt Bromo volcano, tranquil Lovina Beach on the north-west side of Bali and two anchorage points off the laidback island of Lombok – Carik and Gili Sudak.
The $800 per person air credit can be put towards return flights booked with Active Travel from Australia to Bali and is valid for bookings made before July 31, 2017, for selected cruises departing Bali on July 8, August 19 and September 2 and 16, 2017.
The seven-night cruise is available from $3185 per person, twin-share including port taxes. Return flights from Australia to Bali are extra and can be booked through Active Travel using the flight credit.
