Fran regularly exhibits in group shows nation-wide. Her work is inspired by memory, history, and nostalgia investigated through the use of layering and experimentation with surface texture and photographic imagery.
Fran hopes that her pieces encourage the user or viewer to slow down a while, pause and enjoy the moment.

Tiff Brown and Peter Ranyard | Painting & Photography
28 Blamey Cres | CAMPBELL
Tiff Brown and Peter Ranyard have both been working artists for over 25 years. They have worked as both as fine artists and as a commercial illustrator in Tiff’s case and as an advertising/commercial photographer in Peter’s. Tiff is an exceptional painter working mainly in watercolour. Tiff is a traditional still life painter, working in a hyper-real style. She depicts natural and man-made objects in her work and is interested how these things influence and oppose one another. She has had numerous sold out exhibitions and in 2016 was awarded the Wollongong Watercolour Prize. She has previously been a finalist in the Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW. Peter’s photography features the object and the landscape, focussing on history, memory and the built environment and how they effect and contrast with nature. His work is seated in traditional methodology but has a contemporary relevance with his use of digital processes and techniques.
Tiff and Peter will both have limited edition, archival fine art prints as well as artist proofs and gift cards, for sale. Tiff will also have large scale original watercolour paintings and Peter will have a number of framed images of different sizes. Tiff will also have modestly priced small paintings created from her in situ landscape work made overseas and in Australia. Their studio overlooks their garden so the theme will be ‘Garden party’ and will include hot beverages, home-baked snacks and music in our garden (which featured in the Australian Open Garden scheme). We were a part of the open studio program in 2018 and it was a very successful event both in attendance and sales.
